"If you loan to Allah a beautiful loan, He will double it your (credit) and He will grant your forgiveness: for Allah is most ready to appreciate (service), Most forbearing"
- Al-Quran 64:17
With the Grace of the Almighty Allah, the tireless striving and duas of our ancestors, and with the grand support of the generous philanthropists, our Al-Ameen Etheem Khana has safeguarding the etheems for more than 60 years. Alhamdulillah. At this juncture, our 'heartfelt gratitude & duas' to our gracious well-wishers, donors, and philanthropists. Jazakallahu Khairan. This is really a great feat, where our Al-Ameen Etheem Khana was started in 1960 in a small hut in the countryside with only 10 etheem children and has bloomed and grown to a modern housing complex today in a span of 3.5-acre area catering to every need of more than 150 etheems today. Praise be to Allah, the Most Gracious and the Benevolent.
Students who were brought up here are leading noble, peaceful, and honest life fulfilling the goals of dheeniyath, the world over. The elderly people, the forefathers, the pioneers in the society know very well about our Etheem Khana, its noble venture, and honest gesture. This Etheem Khana has been serving the people of the society for more than two generations.
The year was 1960. In Madurai-the traditional and the grand old city of Tamil Nadu - a group of learned, pious people thought of establishing an 'abode' for the motherless, fatherless, homeless, and uncared orphans, to foster and nurture them, to impart education and to inculcate high discipline in them and the Al-Ameen Etheem Khana was established by the benevolence of the Almighty Allah and by the goodwill of Prophet Mohammed (Sal). Alhamdulillah.
More than 150 etheem children are being taken care of here. 24*7 safety measures are undertaken with the provision of CCTV cameras all over the campus, accompanied by security personnel. The campus is a green garden where beautiful, fragrant herbs and flowers provide a soothing, healthy effect on the children. They enjoy clean air, natural greenery, clean and secured drinking water, hygienic toilets and baths, spacious, neat living halls, and buildings with modern amenities. Alhamdulillah. What not, any person who visits here anytime, any day of the year can see the honest, happy countenances of children. Moreover, our Etheem Khana is recognized by both the Government of India and the Tamil Nadu State Government and functions strictly according to Government norms and regulations.
